The short version
Tiny Planet does not send us your data.
The app does not require an account, include advertising, track you across apps or websites, or connect to a Shiina Labs server. We do not collect personal data through the Tiny Planet app.
On-device data
What the app stores locally
Tiny Planet stores your planet’s stable identity, discovery date, generation versions, preferences and experience state on your device. Derived render assets may be cached locally so the planet can load faster.
Apple MetricKit performance and diagnostic reports may also be retained inside the app’s private container. They are used for local development diagnostics, do not contain your planet identity, and are not uploaded by the app.
System features
Sharing an observation
When you choose to share, Tiny Planet creates an image of the current observation and presents the standard iOS share sheet. You decide which app or person receives it. Shiina Labs does not receive a copy.
Deletion
Removing your data
Destroying your current planet removes its local record and related experience state before creating a new planet. Deleting Tiny Planet from your iPhone removes the app and its locally stored data, subject to normal iOS device backup behavior.

Website analytics are separate
This page is hosted on shiinalabs.com, which uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate, cookie-free website usage. Visiting this website makes ordinary network requests to the website and Cloudflare. This does not mean the Tiny Planet app uploads data.
