Common questions

Your planet

What devices does Tiny Planet support?

Tiny Planet is made for iPhone and requires iOS 17 or later.

Does my planet continue to change when the app is closed?

Yes. The app derives planetary time from the moment your world was discovered. There is no background process to keep running, and your planet catches up when you return.

Where is my planet saved?

Your planet identity and app state are stored locally on your device. Tiny Planet does not currently use accounts, iCloud or cross-device sync.

Can I restore a destroyed planet?

No. Destroying a planet permanently removes its local identity and history, then creates a new world. The app asks for confirmation before this happens.

Why does the first launch take a moment?

The surface, oceans, mountains, ice and clouds are generated for your unique planet on first discovery. Later launches can use a local render cache and are faster.

How does sharing work?

The share button renders the current observation as an image and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose whether and where to send it.
